If you are non-diver or want to have a day off diving, there is unlimited options of how you can spend you day in Dahab.
If you’ve never tried snorkeling in the Red Sea then you have really missed out on something! It is most blue and warmest sea in the world and where there are so many different species of animals, and so many of each species, that it feels like swimming in an enormous aquarium.
Windsurfing conditions here are without doubt amongst the best in the world. Fabulous warm water, sandy lagoon beaches and of course the famous Dahab wind make this a year-round top destination to enjoy this exhilarating sport.
Or for the really adventurous sign up for kite surfing lessons and fly over the water! If you are not up to giving it a go yourself it makes for excellent eye candy!
Snorkeling is great for young and old – just make sure you can swim first! Very little equipment is needed – just a mask, fins and snorkel, and you are up close and personal with life on the reef.
Take this one step further and sign up for a freediving course. Surprise yourself with your progress and sneak up on the fish without blowing bubbles!
And if you have any time and energy left you can head out to one of the watersports centres in the lagoon, or book a glass-bottomed boat trip
