We designed this course for people confident in the water (able to swim 100m non-stop) who are curious about discovering freediving in a very relaxed way.
You will learn about breathing and relaxation techniques and get the basic knowledge to enjoy freediving safely within your limits. You will get to experience new sensations that will spark a life-long journey into freediving.
The fun part about this course is . . . well, just about all of it because learning to freedive is incredible!
In the morning
Theory:
Presentation with your instructor, Breathing theory, Breathing exercises, Introduction to freediving equipment
Confined water session :
Static breatholds, Buddying / monitoring, Introduction to safety skills
In the afternoon:
Theory:
Equalization, Freediving disciplines, Freediving code of conduct
Open water session:
Smooth entry in the water, Body/head position, Head down equalization, Relaxation at depth
*** For your safety, you will be asked to fill out a PADI Scuba Medical Questionnaire before starting any of the Diving Courses with Res Sea Tribe, and if any of the listed conditions apply you will have to be checked by a physician in Dahab or have a medical release from your own diving doctor.
